As housing challenges grow, we are expanding our mission to reach unhoused college students (ages 18–24) striving to build better futures, while addressing senior isolation in our communities.

We pair willing senior hosts and empty nesters with college students seeking safe, affordable housing. In exchange, students provide companionship, light housekeeping, and assistance with daily errands.

LEADERSHIP
Founder Lillian Chesley feels that her experience serving the homeless communities means more than just providing for their physical needs. Despite the obvious disadvantages that the unsheltered face in regard to feelings of hopelessness, despair, and fear for their safety, there are emotional and psychological factors that permeate and threaten their hope to become self-reliant. A Touch of Love Works was established to foster the prospect of possibilities with dignity and courage.

Founder Thomas Chesley is passionate about his service to those who are neglected and not properly sheltered and cared for. His concern stems from his own experience with homelessness and trying to survive homelessness without adequate help and assistance. His love for the homeless population is real and he wants to make a difference.
